One condition it is frequently used on is known as Benign Essential Blepharospasm. This condition causes severe eyelid twitching which can be annoying and, in severe cases, debilitating.
BOTOX® Cosmetic is a simple, non-surgical treatment that is used cosmetically to temporarily smoothen moderate to severe frown lines between eyebrows in people from 18 to 65 years of age. One short treatment – a few tiny injections – and within days there is a noticeable improvement in those persistent forehead lines. The results can last up to four months.
An exciting new use for BOTOX® has been recently approved by the FDA. This use addresses hyperhidrosis or excessive perspiration.
