Dr. Ivan Tarle joined the Magruder Eye Institute in August 2001. After graduating with honors from California Institute of Technology, he attended Washington University School of Medicine where he earned both a Medical degree and a Ph.D. Degree in Biochemistry. Following residencies at the University of Tennessee and the University of South Florida, Dr. Tarle completed a prestigious Oculoplastics Fellowship at the University of Cincinnati. He is a board certified Ophthalmologist.
Dr. Tarle’s expertise is in the fields of Oculoplastics, General Ophthalmology, and Aesthetics. He performed exclusively cosmetic and reconstructive procedures around the eyes, face, and head. These include eyelid and facial surgery, eyelid skin cancer resection and reconstruction, tearing problems and orbital surgery. These procedures address such problems as drooping eyelids, sagging brows, and wrinkles around the eyes as well as minimally invasive forehead lifts. He also performs in-office procedures including Botox injections.
Dr. Tarle is practiced at Orlando Health and Lakeside Surgery Center. He is a member of the American Academy of the ophthalmology and the Florida Society of Ophthalmology. Dr. Tarle served as Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of South Florida in Tampa. He has authored articles in various leading scientific and ophthalmic journals.
