Magruder Eye Institute has added Dr. Jeffrey Golen, Cornea Specialist and Comprehensive Ophthalmologist, to its staff of eleven board-certified Ophthalmologists and Optometrists. Dr. Golen treats a wide variety of corneal diseases, including Fuchs’ Dystrophy and other corneal dystrophies, keratoconus, corneal scars, infectious keratitis (corneal ulcers), dry eye, pterygium, eye surface tumors, corneal calcification, and traumatic injuries. He also sees patients for cataract surgery and glaucoma care.
Prior to joining Magruder Eye Institute, Dr. Golen served on faculty as a Cornea and External Disease specialist at the University of Virginia. For over a decade, Dr. Golen had served as United States Army Captain, Resident Physician in the Ohio Army Reserve National Guard Medical.
